Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-purpose dry oil review

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-purpose dry oil 10ml
Ah, the Nuxe star product.
98.1% of the ingredients in this dry oil are of natural origin; a unique combination of 30% precious plant oils and vitamin E to nourish, repair and soften your face, body and hair in a single step. Your face and body are left feeling soft and silky. Your hair is supple, soft and shines with health.
This dry oil contains 6 precious oils (Borage, St. John's Wort, Sweet Almond, Camellia, Hazelnut and Macadamia) and Vitamin E. It's free of preservatives, silicone, and mineral oil. The full size products come in 50ml and 100ml and I wish I had a dozen of them!

Frankly, the smell is delicious. I'd dab a bit of it on my skin and I smell luscious the entire day (if I say so myself). It smells startlingly similar to Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker. I adore the perfume, and don't let people tell you it smells like old people. Old people smell amazing, alright?

You can use the oil on your face, body or hair. If you're using it on your face and neck, I'd suggest using a light spritz of facial mist before smoothing it on. I'm not into using oils on my face, so I only did it once or twice and I can't tell you if it clogged my pores or is liable for a breakout, but it gave this unreal ethereal sheen. Love!

The second use is for your body - this is the troubling part. Imagine how much skin there is on our body, and consider the fact that I feel like bathing every inch with it! I don't use lotions, ever. I can't stand how sticky it makes my skin feel, and I'm too impatient to wait for it to sink in. But this oil makes my skin look so supple and feel so soft, including my elbows! Super soft elbows, whaaat? How to: spread over palms and apply to skin within 2 minutes of getting out of the shower, with still-damp skin. A little goes a long way. Watch your skin glow, no stickiness to speak of.

Third use: hair. That delicious smell in your hair? Yes please! I just run my hand through the bottom half of my hair. It feels awkward at first, but then I get this sleek finish, and my hair feels thick and smooth. I've used it with damp hair out of the shower, and on dry hair (when taking pictures for this post) and they both work fine. You need to give it some time to absorb, though. It kind of just sits there for awhile.

Fourth use is still on your face, but for your makeup. This works wonders when you mix a drop with your liquid foundation. The application is just beautiful, glides over the skin like butter and the finish is perfect dewy skin. Sigh.

Fifth and final use (unless you can think of anything else?) is on dry cuticles. Just use a tiny amount and dab into your cuticles, works as well as any cuticle oil!

If I was disgustingly rich, I'd use this head to toe everyday and take it with me everywhere. So for that, 5 freaking stars. But I'm not, so they lose half a star for the price. But then I think of how little I use and how much it does for me, and I cheerfully give them back the half. If you have the money, splurge on this and you're welcome.
